تعلن اللجنة الفيدرالية للسوق المفتوحة قرار السياسة النقدية اليوم في الساعة 6:00 مساءً بتوقيت جرينتش. وقد ترك سعر الفائدة على الأموال الفيدرالية دون تغيير في نطاق 5.25-5.50%، وذلك تماشيًا مع توقعات السوق. أشارت مجموعة جديدة من التوقعات الاقتصادية إلى ارتفاع نمو الناتج المحلي الإجمالي هذا العام والعام المقبل مقارنة بتوقعات ديسمبر بالإضافة إلى ارتفاع توقعات التضخم الأساسي في نفقات الاستهلاك الشخصي لهذا العام. وأظهرت نقطة الرسم البياني الجديدة أن متوسط التوقعات دون تغيير لهذا العام عند 4.60% (3 تخفيضات)، في حين تم تعديل المتوسط لعام 2025 صعوديًا من 3.60% إلى 3.90% (أيضًا 3 تخفيضات من مستويات نهاية 2024).
وفي حين أن متوسط توقعات المعدل الجديد لعام 2024 لم يتغير مقارنة بتوقعات ديسمبر، إلا أن توزيع الأصوات تغير. ويرى عضو واحد فقط في بنك الاحتياطي الفيدرالي أكثر من 75 نقطة أساس من التيسير هذا العام، بينما توقع الأعضاء ذلك في 5 ديسمبر.
