وشدد ريتشارد بول، رئيس الخدمات المهنية والاستشارات في الشرق الأوسط، على التركيبة السكانية الشبابية في المملكة العربية السعودية، حيث أن 67% منهم تحت سن 35 عامًا، مسلطًا الضوء على تأثيرهم الاقتصادي المحتمل في السنوات القادمة.
ويتماشى هذا النمو مع خطة رؤية المملكة العربية السعودية 2030، التي تهدف إلى تنويع الاقتصاد. وتؤكد البيانات الأخيرة التي تظهر زيادة بنسبة 5.6 في المائة في الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر (FDI) على جاذبية الرياض كمركز أعمال إقليمي.
وأشار رمزي درويش، رئيس سافيلز في المملكة العربية السعودية، إلى جاذبية الرياض للشركات العالمية، مستشهداً بحوافز مثل الإعفاء الضريبي لمدة 30 عاماً للمقرات الإقليمية. أنشأت أكثر من 180 شركة أجنبية قواعد إقليمية في عام 2023، وهو ما يتجاوز الأهداف الأولية ويؤكد مكانة الرياض المتنامية.
يبرز مؤشر سافيلز لمراكز النمو، الذي يتوقع القوة الاقتصادية حتى عام 2033، في الغالب المدن الهندية والصينية، مع تمثيل دول جنوب شرق آسيا مثل فيتنام والفلبين أيضًا. ويؤكد هذا التحول على المحور الشرقي للنمو العالمي وآثاره على أسواق العقارات والتنمية الحضرية.
