شهدت أسعار الذهب تغيرات طفيفة اليوم الاثنين بسبب الإجازات في التعاملات الآسيوية الضئيلة. مع الحفاظ على الذهب ضمن النطاق الذي تم تحديده في الأسبوع الماضي، كان المتداولون يبحثون عن مزيد من الإرشادات من البيانات القادمة للتضخم الأمريكي.
فيما يتعلق بالمعادن الصناعية، وصلت أسعار النحاس إلى أدنى مستوى في حوالي ثلاثة أشهر بعد أن اكتشفت شركة KoBold Metals، التي يدعمها مؤسس مايكروسوفت بيل جيتس، كميات كبيرة من النحاس في زامبيا التي يمكن أن تصبح منجم نحاس كبير.
تراجع التوقعات لتخفيضات مبكرة في أسعار الفائدة من قبل الاحتياطي الفيدرالي أدى إلى انخفاض الذهب مرة أخرى إلى نطاق تداول بين 2000 دولار و2050 دولار في فبراير. حيث بدأت الأسواق في تسعير فرص تخفيض أسعار الفائدة بشكل مستقر في مارس ومايو.
ترقب المتداولون بيانات مؤشر أسعار المستهلك، وتوجيهات من بنك الاحتياطي الفيدرالي. يتوقع أن يظل الذهب هادئاً قبل إصدار بيانات مؤشر أسعار المستهلك الأمريكي يوم الثلاثاء. ورغم أنه من المتوقع أن تشير البيانات إلى انخفاض التضخم في يناير، إلا أن الضغوط المتوقعة على الأسعار ستظل أعلى بكثير من الهدف السنوي البالغ 2٪ لمجلس الاحتياطي الفيدرالي، مما يعطي البنك المركزي دافعاً للحفاظ على أسعار الفائدة مرتفعة لفترة أطول. بالإضافة إلى بيانات التضخم، هناك عدد من مسؤولي الاحتياطي الفيدرالي، بما في ذلك نيل كاشكاري، وماري دالي، ورالف بوستيك، يتابعون الوضع هذا الأسبوع. من المتوقع أن يؤكد مسؤولو الاحتياطي الفيدرالي على تعليقاتهم السابقة بأن البنك المركزي ليس مستعجلاً في خفض أسعار الفائدة. هذا الافتراض أدى إلى خسائر كبيرة في الذهب في وقت سابق من فبراير، حيث أدى ارتفاع أسعار الفائدة إلى زيادة الكلفة البديلة للتوجه نحو الذهب كاستثمار. وظل الدولار قريباً من أعلى مستوى له في الثلاثة أشهر الأخيرة، مما أبقى أسعار الذهب تحت ضغط. وعلى الرغم من ذلك، تمكن الذهب من البقاء أعلى من مستوى الدعم البالغ 2000 دولار، على الرغم من تحذير المحللين من احتمالية اختبار هذا المستوى في الأيام القادمة.
من وجهة نظر فنية، اخترق الذهب المتحرك المتوسط ل 200 جلسة على فترة H1 وأكمل الاتجاه الهبوطي وصولاً الى مستويات 2022$. إذا استمر الاتجاه الهبوطي بالتزامن مع قوة الدولار الأمريكي فأن منطقة 2015$ تشكل أقرب منطقة دعم. أما في حال انعكاس الاتجاه الهبوطي فقد يتوجه الذهب لاختبار مستويات 2027$ حيث يقع المتحرك المتوسط ل 50 جلسة.
