صرح وزير الطاقة السعودي الأمير عبد العزيز بن سلمان أن المملكة ستزيد تدريجياً إنتاج النفط خلال الأعوام الثلاثة المقبلة.
كما ذكر : "خفضنا القدرة الإنتاجية، في 2025 سنكون أمام زيادة تدريجية وفي 2026 سنكون أمام زيادة أكبر في القدرة الإنتاجية وسنكون أمام زيادة في 2027 ثم سنعود إلى 12.3 مليون برميل في 2028".
موضحا خلال جلسة حوارية بمنتدى بطرسبرغ الاقتصادي الدولي تحت عنوان "مستقبل سوق النفط والغاز"، أن هناك مسائل محلية لـ أرامكو حيث تتجه السعودية نحو التركز على توليد الكهرباء من الطاقة المتجددة وهذا سيوفر مليون برميل من الوقود، مشيرا إلى أنه لا بد أن يكون هنالك مسار واضح بخصوص كيفية الإنتاج.
وأوضح في ذات الإطار وزير الطاقة أن "وبك بلس" لم تغير سياستها النفطية سعياً للحصول على حصة أكبر من السوق العالمية وما زالت تعطي الأولوية للاستقرار، ولهذا السبب، احتفظ التحالف بخيار الإيقاف المؤقت، أو حتى عكس التراجع التدريجي لبعض تخفيضات الإنتاج التي تم الإعلان عنها في نهاية الأسبوع الماضي.
