وبموجب الصفقة، ستحصل سانوفي على حصة 4.9% في شركة الأدوية الأمريكية. تقدر صفقة تاج والاستحواذ على الحصة شركة Novavax بحوالي 1.4 مليار دولار، أي ما يقرب من ضعف قيمتها السوقية البالغة حوالي 628 مليون دولار أمس. تمنح الاتفاقية شركة Novavax الحق في الحصول على دفعة نقدية مقدمة قدرها 500 مليون دولار ومدفوعات مستقبلية مشروطة بمراحل معينة، بالإضافة إلى حقوق الملكية (700 مليون دولار).
