Ne așteptăm ca sentimentul în jurul lui Ethereum să se îmbunătățească treptat. A doua cea mai mare criptomonedă ar putea acoperi „slăbiciunea” față de Bitcoin și poate deveni principalul beneficiar al unui posibil declin al „dominanței” record în prezent. În plus, comentariile fostului director SEC, Hinman, indică faptul că Ethereum are încă șansa de a fi recunoscut oficial, ca și Bitcoin, drept marfă. Acest lucru ar putea deschide calea pentru ca aplicațiile adecvate BTC să creeze ETF-uri spot care oferă expunere la Etherum însuși.
După fuziunea din 2022, toți minerii Ethereum au suspendat mineritul, iar oferta de ETH va scădea în cele din urmă, făcând proiectul deflaționist. Dezvoltatorii au construit mecanismul de „ardere” în așa fel încât oferta de ETH va scădea cu cât este mai mare interesul pentru tranzacțiile pe blockchain-ul Ethereum, făcând ca evaluarea pe termen lung a Ethereum să devină beneficiarul creșterii organice a blockchain-ului. Ethereum rămâne „epicentrul” diferitelor tipuri de inovații, inclusiv contractele inteligente pe piața criptomonedelor. În plus, după comentariile recente și mișcările instituționale ale lui Powell, au crescut speculațiile cu privire la crearea unor reglementări transparente și prietenoase pentru întreaga piață cripto din SUA.
