For Standard account type, we do not charge any execution commission for CFDs but you are trading with slightly wider spreads.

On the Standard account, most instruments are available commission-free, but it’s worth noting a few important fees:

✅ Transaction currency conversion – if your account is held in a different currency than the instrument you trade, both the result of the position and any applicable fees will be converted into your account currency in accordance with the XTB Exchange Rate.

All currency conversions resulting from transactions (opening and closing) and corporate actions related to instruments available in XTB’s offering –stocks CFD, ETF CFD, and other CFD instruments (on currencies, indices, commodities, and cryptocurrencies) – are subject to a 0.5% margin on the XTB Exchange Rate.

The currency conversion fee is included in the XTB Exchange Rate and:

• for stocks CFD, and ETF CFD – is applied at the moment of transaction execution (closing the position) or settlement of a corporate action,

• for other CFD instruments – affects the transaction result and is settled at the moment of closing the position.

✅ Swap points – some CFD instruments are subject to daily swap points (overnight financing costs). Swap points are credited or debited daily at midnight based on the daily rate. In some cases, the technical process of applying swap points/financing costs may not occur exactly at midnight – the maximum time window is between 23:59 and 00:01.

✅ Account maintenance fee? Only in case of inactivity!
A monthly fee of 10 EUR is charged from the Investment Account if two of these conditions are simultaneously met:
a) no position has been opened or closed within the last 365 days, and
b) no deposit has been made within the last 90 days.

The fee is charged from available funds in the account (converted into the account currency). If there are no available funds, the fee is not charged. The fee is also not charged if there is an open position on any account.
