DE40: DAX gains slightly trying to maintain growth momentum 📈

3:08 pm 29 May 2025

  • DE40 gains 0.15%; shares of Lufthansa, Porsche, and Adidas rise between 2% and 3%
  • The EUR/USD is slightly down, pulling back below 1.13 following a ruling by the U.S. Court of International Trade.
  • Evonik, Vonovia, and Thyssenkrupp shares are under downward pressure, falling between 4% and 5%.

Market sentiment on European stock exchanges is moderately optimistic today. At the same time, investor attention is focused on the U.S. market, which is rallying on the back of strong earnings from Nvidia, whose shares are up more than 6%. The U.S. dollar has strengthened slightly after the trade court ruled that Trump’s tariffs were imposed without proper authority.

DE40 (Daily Interval – D1)

DAX futures (DE40) have posted an impressive rally recently. However, when comparing the current setup to August 2024, a correction from these levels cannot be ruled out. The key short-term support in the event of a pullback is currently the 50-day EMA at 23,200 points. Among Germany’s small-cap stocks, Siltronic, Friedrich Vorwerk, and SUESS MicroTec are performing particularly well.
