DE40: Europe Pullback, Siemens Energy to Sell Part of India Business

Overall market situation: European stocks are losing ground today after that, negating some of the gains booked in recent days. The German DAX is currently down 0.54%, while the French CAC40 is down 0.65%. The Polish market is doing poorly, with losses reaching 1.2%. The mainstay of growth at the moment is the FTSE100, where we are seeing 0.24% increases.

ProSiebenSat.1 (PSM.DE) shares are up 6.5% after Reuters reported that MFE has called a board meeting to review a possible bid for the company’s shares. MFE’s board will consider two alternative moves, including increasing its current stake in the company to almost 30%.

Shell (SHELL.NL) shares are up 1.4%, hitting their highest level since August, after the oil giant said it would boost investor returns by the end of the decade and strengthen its leading global LNG trader position.

Siemens Energy (ENR.DE) shares are up 5% after the company said it will sell 90% of its wind turbine business in India and Sri Lanka.
