News:
Aircraft lessor BOC Aviation announced today that it has agreed to buy four Airbus A321NEO and two Airbus A320NEO aircraft from Airbus (AIR.DE). The company said the planes are scheduled for delivery in 2027 and 2028. It did not disclose the value of the deal under the agreement.
Shares of British American Tobacco Plc (BATS.UK) are gaining more than 0.5% today, making up for some of the declines triggered by yesterday's announcement of a $110 million fine by Nigeria's antitrust authority, which said the manufacturer had violated competition laws. BAT has agreed to pay the fine and will allow the Commission to monitor its actions for two years to "ensure appropriate modification of business behavior and practices."
