OPEC+ meeting on output
European stock market indices are set for a higher opening of today's session. Moods on equity markets remain upbeat after FOMC announced a long-awaited tapering and refrained from providing details on rate hike timing. Investors will be offered rate decisions from two other central banks today - Norges Bank at 9:00 am GMT and Bank of England at 12:00 pm GMT. The latter is expected to be more interesting as economists are 50-50 split on whether BoE will leave rates unchanged or deliver a 15 basis point rate hike. Apart from that, OPEC+ will meet today to decide on future output. The most likely outcome is to maintain the current policy of boosting output by 400k bpd each month.
