Tesla to report Q2 2022 earnings after market close
European index futures point to a slightly higher opening of today's cash session on the Old Continent. DAX futures currently trade around 50 points above yesterday's cash close. Mixed moods can be spotted on precious metals and cryptocurrencies markets while energy commodities pull back. Antipodean currencies (AUD and NZD) lead among G10 currencies while CAD and CHF lag the most.
Markets seem to have calmed a bit following yesterday's rally. Economic calendar for the day ahead includes some interesting releases like Canadian CPI inflation for June or DOE report on oil inventories. Another confidence vote will be held in the Italian government this evening after President Mattarella rejected Mario Draghi's resignation from the Prime Minister post. When it comes to the earnings calendar, today is all about Tesla results.
