ECB expected to leave rates unchanged
Risk-on moods prevail after reports surfaced saying that a drug developed by Gilead Science proved to be effective in fighting Covid-19. The US administration said it will work with the company to make treatment available as soon as possible, giving the whole story more creditworthiness. Investors will be served some key reports today, including GDP from European countries and US jobless claims. ECB will announce a rate decision at 12:45 pm BST but no change is expected. Focus will be on the press conference of President Lagarde at 1:30 pm BST.
