European futures are currently pointing to a mixed opening in this week's last cash session. Yesterday's somewhat subdued sentiment on Wall Street and reactions to US retail earnings had an impact on stock indexes in the Asia-Pacific region today. Korea's KOSPI lost nearly 0.85% intraday, and Japan's Nikkei was down 0.15%. The Hang Seng is doing very poorly at the moment, rubbing nearly 2% off on a daily basis.
On Friday's macro calendar, we can find, among other things: final CPI data from the Eurozone, data on housing starts in the US, and numerous speeches by central bankers.
