Today's economic calendar includes several interesting publications. Although there are no significant macroeconomic reports from the USA, investors will have access to key data for other countries, mainly European.
Retail sales reports from the UK and Canada are expected to show a month-to-month decline. UK data is anticipated to be -0.5% month-over-month, while Canadian data is expected to be -0.1% month-over-month. In the latter part of the day, investors' attention will shift to the USA, where the University of Michigan report will be released, and several FOMC bankers, including Barr and Daly, will deliver speeches.
