Q4 earnings from US video game stock
European stock market indices launched today's trading lower. DAX was down around 0.6% at the session's opening. This comes after a downbeat Asia-Pacific session, where most indices also traded down. US-China tensions picked up over the weekend after the US Air Force shot down a Chinese spy balloon off the US Atlantic coast.
Economic calendar for today is light. Traders will be offered Sentix index for February as well as retail sales print for December from the euro area. However, it should be said that neither of those tends to produce any long-term moves. GBP may see some volatility during speeches from Mann and Pill. Video game companies Activision Blizzard and Take-Two Interactive are set to release Q4 2022 earnings reports after the close of the Wall Street session.
