Alphabet and PayPal to report earnings after session close
Futures markets point to a higher opening of today's trading session on the Old Continent. DAX futures trade around 100 points above yesterday's cash close. There are plenty of releases scheduled for today's European morning but sadly most of them are revisions of January's PMI data and won't have an impact on the markets. Canadian monthly GDP report for November will be released in the early afternoon followed by US manufacturing ISM for January some time later. API report on oil inventories wraps macro calendar for the day. However, there is also a range of earnings releases scheduled, including Alphabet and PayPal after close of the Wall Street session.
