Fisker's (FIS.US) Ocean electric SUV has received European certification so that the company is preparing for deliveries, which are scheduled to begin on May 5. The company said it has seen an increase in European bookings for the Fisker Ocean after announcing the car's impressive range (707 km).
- Deliveries for Europe will continue until the end of September with deliveries of Ocean Extreme models also being initiated, which will debut on the European market before they reach the States. The niche U.S. EV manufacturer has also produced several units of the Fisker Ocean Ultra with AWD and an Ocean Sports model for testing and homologation purposes. The manufacturer expects deliveries to customers of these versions to begin in September.
- Fisker conducted the approval process for the Ocean model simultaneously in Europe and the United States. The company's flagship SUV has the largest range of any battery-electric SUV on the UK market. The model recently won the 2023 Red Dot Product Design Award for best electric vehicle.
