Markets' attention is focused on doings of retail investors from Reddit as they have been drivers of big moves in the market recently. After sending share prices of companies like Gamestop or AMC into the sky, retail investors community has taken aim at silver. Price of the precious metal jumped to a 7-year high, making a 10% leap higher today. However, investors should not forget that Wall Street earnings season is underway and it can be a trigger for big moves as well.
Top earnings reports this week will be released after the close of the Wall Street session on Tuesday as Alphabet (GOOGL.US) and Amazon (AMZN.US) will publish Q4 2020 results. Apart from that, investors will also be served reports from some other well-known US companies like for example Ford Motor (F.US) or Exxon Mobil (XOM.US). US biotech and big pharma companies will also show their results with Pfizer (PFE.US), Regeneron Pharmaceuticals (REGN.US) and Merck (MRK.US) being key releases from the sector.
