Apart from that, trading on other markets, like for example commodities, will also end at 6:00 pm GMT.
Wednesday, December 25
Vast majority of global financial markets will be shut on December 25. Having said that, trading will not take place on that day. Markets will follow a Sunday scheduled and will re-open at 10:00 pm GMT.
Thursday, December 26
When it comes to the Boxing Day, investors will be given an opportunity to trade US shares and indices as session on Wall Street will be held as usual. However, commodities quoted on the US exchanges like CORN, SOYBEAN, WHEAT will cease trading at 2:35 pm GMT. SUGAR, COFFEE, COCOA and COTTON will trade until 1:00 pm GMT. European investors will stay on the sidelines as all major European stock exchanges will be shut for trading. Trading will not take place on Nickel, Aluminum, Copper and Zinc.
Tuesday, December 31
Trading will not take place on numerous European stock markets on New Year’s Eve. This includes equities from Italy, Finland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Poland. Stock exchanges from the following countries will shut earlier:

Apart from that, one should keep in mind that EMISS will trade until 5:00 pm GMT while OIL will trade until 8:00 pm GMT. All other markets will close at 9:00 pm GMT.
Wednesday, January 1
Market will be shut for trading on January 1, 2020. Similarly to December 25 markets will follow Sunday scheduled and will re-open at 10:00 pm GMT.
