Última hora: EUR manteve-se estável, após a publicação dos índices PMIs de França e Alemanha

A publicação dos índices finais sobre os PMIs para Dezembro foram os pontos altos do calendário económico do dia de hoje.

Os dados sobre o setor industrial dos PMIs de Espanha subiram para 46,4 em Dezembro, em comparação com os 45,7 registados no mês anterior e em comparação com as expectativas do mercado de 46,2. A última leitura apontou para uma sexta deterioração mensal sucessiva das condições de funcionamento, mas ao ritmo mais fraco durante três meses.

Entretanto, o PMI industrial em Itália aumentou para 48,50 pts no mês passado de 48,40 pontos em Novembro, em linha com as estimativas do mercado, e apontando para um sexto mês consecutivo de queda da actividade da fábrica, em meio a condições de procura fracas. Tanto a produção como os novos trabalhos diminuíram ainda mais, embora a um ritmo mais lento. 

Os dados franceses foram revistos ligeiramente em alta, enquanto que os dados alemães não foram positivos, o que indica o estado fraco da economia da Zona Euro.
