Pokles zlata sa nezastavil na 38,2 Fibonacciho retracemente z 10. marca vzostupnej vlny, keď zlaté prúty začali rásť na vlne bankovej krízy, ale cena je stále veľmi blízko tejto úrovne. Index relatívnej sily (RSI) klesol pod 30 bodov, čo signalizuje stav prepredania. Práve na tejto úrovni je dopyt v posledných mesiacoch aktívny. Nedávne makrodáta z americkej ekonomiky vyšli dosť zmiešané, ale celkový trend poukazuje na spomalenie ekonomiky, o ktorom nedávno okrem iného hovorila Loretta Mester z Clevelandského Fedu.
Pondelkové regionálne dáta NY Empire State boli celkom sklamaním a dnes trhy upriamia svoju pozornosť na ďalší regionálny priemyselný benchmark - Philly Fed. Hodnoty JOLTS budú pozorne sledovať aj trhmi. Slabnúci americký trh práce môže podporiť zlato – rovnako ako ďalšie „recesie“ oslabenie výroby v USA. Z historického hľadiska sa prútom darilo dobre počas recesie, kedy dopyt môže stále podporovať zlato v kľúčových cenových zónach. Odporúčame zaujať dlhú pozíciu na zlate, s defenzívnym príkazom stop loss, okolo úrovne 1930 USD – pokles pod túto úroveň môže naznačovať, že medvede chcú otestovať retracement 61,8 Fibo na úrovni 1912 USD.
