BREAKING: US Consumer Sentiment Falls the Most in almost 50 Years

The University of Michigan's consumer sentiment for the US dropped to 89.1 in March of 2020 from a preliminary of 95.9 and 101 in February. It is the lowest reading since October of 2016 and the fourth largest one-month decline in nearly a half century. U.S. consumer sentiment fell to a three-year low as the coronavirus outbreak takes a toll on the economy.
