- Fantom cryptocurrency incorporated a new Vault funding mechanism into its cryptocurrency ecosystem on January 20. Since then, the number of active wallets has increased by 132%. In the last 20 days, 8.58 million transactions have been completed on the Phantom network.
- The mechanism was created to fund projects built on the Fantom blockchain. Projects awaiting funding from the Vault fund must be approved by a vote and reviewed by the community. In view of this, Phantom has been declared one of the most 'democratic' blockchains;
- The fund controls the community, which redirects 10% of transaction fees from Fantom to network reserves that support startups and early-stage projects. The idea has been hailed by the cryptocurrency industry as one of the most revolutionary in 2023. In the new year, the goal of Fantom developers is to expand the ecosystem of decentralized applications.
