Opening an investment account with XTB is quick and easy. You can start investing in the financial markets within just a few minutes. To open an account, follow the steps below:

You can open an account using our mobile app. The process is the same whether you start on the website or go directly to the app.

Step 1: Get the XTB mobile app

- Starting on the website: Go to the XTB homepage and click the “Create account” button in the top right corner. You will be directed to download the XTB mobile app.


- Starting on mobile: Download the XTB mobile app directly from your device’s official app store.

Step 2: Complete the application form

  1. Open the XTB mobile app.

  2. After opening the app, select the “Open account” button.

  3. Fill in the application form with your details.

Step 3: Verify your identity

  1. After you submit the form, you will be redirected to a video verification process. Follow the on-screen instructions.

  2. You will then be asked to take a photo of your identity document (ID card, passport, driving license or residence permit) directly within the app- it is not possible to upload a previously taken photo or scan.

Once you have submitted your documents, we will verify them.

How long does it take to verify identification documents?


Document verification usually takes a few minutes. If all documents are correctly verified, the contract will be activated. You will be informed about it via e-mail.
