To activate your investment account, you must complete two steps in our mobile app:
1. Take a photo of your ID document. Use a valid ID card, passport, driving licence, or UK residence permit. You must take the photo directly in the app — you cannot upload a photo or scan you took earlier.
2. Complete video verification. You will be asked to take a selfie as part of this process.
How to properly take a selfie for video verification?
To properly take a selfie for verification, please note a few things:
Make sure your face is clearly visible and fits completely within the frame.
Avoid excessively bright or dim lighting – it is best to stand facing the light source.
Remove sunglasses, hats, or other items that obscure your face.
Hold your phone steady and follow the on-screen instructions.
Choose a quiet environment and ensure a good internet connection.
The selfie must only show you, with no one else visible in the photo.
Can someone help me with the video verification?
The video verification process must be completed independently. For security and regulatory reasons, no one else can complete verification on your behalf or assist you during the verification process.
What Additional Documents May Be Required for Account Verification?
As part of our standard verification process, a Proof of Address may be required to complete your account setup. If requested, this document must have been issued within the last 90 days.
Acceptable documents include:
Bank statement
Utility bill (gas, electricity, or water)
Landline telephone bill (mobile phone bills are not accepted)
Broadband internet bill
Council tax bill
Personal tax statement
Full Tenancy Agreement with a real estate agency (signed by both the landlord and tenant)
You must provide your proof of address as either a photo of a physically delivered document or an original online-generated PDF. We do not accept any kind of screenshots or scans.
Once all documents have been verified, your investment account will be activated. Normally, this takes a few minutes after we positively verify your documents. During busy periods, it may take up to several hours. Our team works to complete all verifications and activations as quickly as possible.
