Aston Martin (AML.UK) share price continues its dynamic growth after the publication of superb financial results. The icing on the cake was the good performance of Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll during the Bahrain GP over the weekend. At the moment, the company's share price gains more than 16%.
Aston Martin was the best-performing team at the first Formula 1 event of the year. Fernando Alonso finished 3rd and Lance Stroll, who recently underwent surgery, was 6th. Alonso beat Lewis Hamilton while Stroll overtook George Russell. The Aston Martin Formula One team is a separate entity from the company. It is owned by Lawrence Stroll, who is also the largest shareholder in Aston Martin Lagonda.
The company published very good financial results last week. Total revenue for the year reached £1.38bn, up from £1.09bn a year earlier. Despite production challenges, the company managed to increase wholesale shipments to 6,412 units.
