During Tuesday's session, we can observe the strength of the dollar in the broad market. The quotations of the AUDUSD currency pair are losing more than 0.2% on a daily basis. Looking technically at the H4 chart, the quotes have been in a downward channel for some time. The recent correction is probably heading towards the end, as evidenced by the sellers taking the initiative during today's session. The quotations, despite several attempts, failed to break above the resistance at 0.6605. This place was due to the upper limit of the local 1:1 pattern, which, according to the Overbalance methodology, confirms the downward direction. Breaking through the last minimum at 0.6525 could pave the way for further declines towards 0.6460. In turn, to think about increases, the course would have to break out of the aforementioned downward channel with the top.
