BREAKING: Euro zone CPI drops to lowest in over two years!

Eurozone CPI harmonised (Y/Y) Oct P: 2.9% (exp 3.1%; prev 4.3%)

- CPI Core (Y/Y) Oct P: 4.2% (exp 4.2%; prev 4.5%)

- CPI (M/M) Oct P: 0.1% (exp 0.3%; prev 0.3%)

Eurozone GDP SA (Q/Q) Q3: -0.1% (exp 0.0%; prev 0.1%)

- GDP SA (Y/Y) Q3: 0.1% (exp 0.2%; prev 0.5%)

Italian CPI (YoY) (Oct) Actual: 1.8%  Expected: 2.3% Previous: 5.3%

Inflation data from the eurozone show a sizable drop in inflationary dynamics. Particularly strong in today's readings are the simultaneously reported data from Italy, where the y/y reading showed a drop to 1.8% from 5.3%.

EURUSD pair ticks lower after lower CPI data and GDP reading.
