BREAKING: US CB Consumer Confidence well below expectations

US Conference Board Consumer Confidence index decreased to 88.6in December 2020, from the previous month's 96.1 and compared to market expectations of 97.0. Tthe Present Situation Index plunged to 90.3 from 105.9 and the Consumer Expectations Index improved modestly to 87.5 from 84.3. Finally, the Jobs Hard-to-get Index rose to 22 from 19.4.

EURUSD - pair broke below the 1.2210 support  after  today's data releases and is heading towards the next support level at 1.2176. Source:xStation5
