Economic calendar: Coronavirus concerns overshadow light calendar

As it is usually the case for Mondays, the economic calendar is light and there are no major data releases scheduled. Markets are likely to be focused on coronavirus developments today. DAX futures point to a 1.8% bearish gap at the open while CAC 40 is seen opening 2.4% lower. FTSE 100 trades 1.4% lower in pre-market. GBP traders may want to tune to newsflow as the UK parliament returns from a recess today.
