Economic calendar: GDP reports from Europe, oil major earnings

European index futures point to a lower opening of the trading session on the Old Continent. Weak earnings from Apple and Amazon weigh on the sentiment. However, there is plenty releases scheduled for today that may brighten the picture. Q3 GDP reports from EMU countries will be released throughout the morning with German reading being the most closely watched (9:00 am BST). Data from France earlier today showed a much higher growth than expected (3.0% QoQ vs 2.1% QoQ expected) so we may see surprises in other reports as well. USD may become a little more volatile in the early afternoon when monthly core PCE data is released. Among today's earnings reporters, investors will find US oil majors - ExxonMobil, Chevron and Phillips 66.
