Economic calendar: PMIs from Europe and US

  • PMI releases from Germany, France, UK and US

  • 2 Dow Jones members report earnings

Futures markets point to a slightly higher opening of the European session. While ECB meeting was a big event of the day, there is still more to come on Friday! 

Flash PMI release from Europe and the United States will be released throughout the day. Data from Germany and France is expected to show slightly weaker readings for manufacturing but higher ones for services. Similar pattern is expected from US data in the afternoon. Both indices from UK are seen dropping.

When it comes to earnings releases, investors will be offered reports from 2 Dow Jones members - American Express and Honeywell
