Futures markets hint at a lower opening of today's European cash session. Reports saying that the project of the next $3 trillion stimulus bill is almost ready have been making some noise overnight but it did not manage to impact sentiment significantly.

Today's main event is testimony of Fed Chair Powell and Treasury Secretary Yellen before the House panel. Powell and Yellen will speak on the economy and relief actions. Apart from that, a number of other Fed members will also deliver speeches today therefore the US dollar may become more active in the afternoon.
