- European indices open slightly higher
- Final CPI data from euro area
- Rate decisions from Fed, BoJ and others this week
European indices launched today's cash session slightly higher. This comes in spite of an upbeat Asia-Pacific session, during which the majority of indices from the region gained. Nikkei rallied over 2% as JPY weakened. Bitcoin climbed back above $68,000 mark after a recent correction. CAD and NZD are the best performing major currencies, while JPY and CHF lag the most.
Economic calendar for the day ahead is light. Traders will be offered final CPI reading for February from euro area as well as Polish core CPI inflation data for February. There are no reports from the United States scheduled to be released. However, things get much more interesting later into the week, with a marathon of central bank rate decisions. Fed and Bank of Japan will draw the most attention, but they are not the only ones scheduled for this week.
