Markets focused on rise in coronavirus cases
German inflation seen intact in June
NFP report and FOMC minutes to be release later into the week
Markets are set for a light session today in terms of economic data releases. Investors will be offered preliminary German CPI reading for June as well as US pending home sales data for March. However, right now markets seem to be once again focused on rise in Covid-19 cases and it is likely to be a leading theme in the markets today. Attention is on the United States and whether more counties and states decided to reimpose coronavirus restrictions.

3:00 pm BST - US, pending home sales for May. Expected: 19.7% MoM. Previous: -21.8% MoM
