GBP loses ground as Johnson responds to Barnier

Boris Johnson repeated his threat of walking away from negotiations with the EU in case Brussels sticks to demands on key issues. Comments came shortly after the EU top negotiator Barnier said that the UK will have to sign up to regulations that will prevent unfair competition. GBP plunges today as traders are bracing for a rift between two trading partners.
