Meme stock sell-off accelerates

AMC (AMC.US) fell more than 5% during today's session as Disney (DIS.US) said it will release some movies, including blockbuster "Black Widow'' and  “Cruella,” on its streaming platform Disney+ the same day as cinemas for an additional rental fee. Other meme stocks are also under pressure today. GameStop (GME.US) stock extended recent losses after disappointing quarterly figures and lack of details about its turnaround plan. Also video game retailer announced it was considering selling additional equity to fund its transformation.
