Argentinian public transport could be paid with Bitcoin

Users of Argentinian public transportation could pay for such services using Bitcoins, as Cripto247 reports. Namely, the national contactless smart card named Sube (Sistema Único de Boleto Electrónico) now could be loaded with Bitcoins. The card Sube allows to pay for buses, trains in 37 Argentinian cities (for example, Buenos Aires and Mar del Plata), and it was launched in February 2009. Moreover, the Sube is promoted by the Argentine Secretary of Transportation. This solution could be another step to broaden adoption of cryptocurrencies in daily life - in this case, especially for Argentines.
