  • Nvidia tops $1 trillion capitalization; it is the 9th company to break through this barrier!

Tuesday's session on Wall Street brings a continuation of the upward wave fuelled by positive announcements related to the US debt limit issue. Moreover, market sentiment is supported by the valuations of Nvidia (NVDA.US), which became the 9th company in history to break through the US$1 trillion market capitalization barrier today.

Investors' attention during today's session is primarily focused on Nvidia (NVDA.US), which became the 9th company in history to break through the $1 trillion market capitalisation threshold. The company's shares are currently trading close to 5 per cent higher and climbing to levels of USD 410 per share.

Pfizer (PFE.US), reported that data from an advanced-stage trial of its experimental treatment for haemophilia showed an advantage over the current standard treatment in reducing the rate of bleeding in patients. The stock is currently losing 1%.

Alphabet (GOOGL.US) shares are losing close to 1% at the moment due to its obligation to pay a $32.5m penalty for infringing one of the smart speaker manufacturer Sonos' patents in its wireless audio devices.

Unilever (UL.US) said that the company's current CFO will leave his position by the end of 2024, after nearly 20 years with the company.Furthermore, the company said that Conny Braams, chief digital and commercial officer, will leave Unilever in August this year.
