WSJ reports that spot ETFs on ETH could begin trading next week

The Wall Street Journal reports that the SEC has informed asset managers that U.S. Ethereum ETFs can begin trading starting July 23 this year.

"The agency is expected to announce that the funds' registration statements will go into effect next Monday, after asset managers submit their final round of filings this week. Once the statements go into effect, sales of ETF shares can begin" - WSJ analysts added.

Ethereum gained 0.5% after the release of this news.
