DE30: DAX in consolidation ahead of US PPI reading

The last trading session on the German market this week brings moderate gains in the DAX index. Nevertheless, the scale of the gains is rather small, and the index remains in a zone close to yesterday's closing levels. Investors in today's session will focus primarily on the PPI inflation reading in the US (13:30 BST).

  • - Carl Zeiss Meditec (AFX.DE) shares are losing more than 5% today as the earnings outlook is downgraded amid pandemic uncertainty in China.
