Why do we conduct user research?

Focus on the client

We create both the mobile app and the XTB web platform for our clients. Your perception of our solutions is most important to us and sets the direction for further development.

Improving products

The products we deliver to our clients are constantly evolving with the changing environment and market standards. After releasing a new feature publicly, we continue to work on its improvement.

Testing new ideas

We like to experiment with new solutions, and we like even more to know that new solutions meet our clients' needs. Therefore, every new project is preceded by a series of user studies.

What types of research do we conduct?

An online meeting in a 1-on-1 format. In a relaxed atmosphere, we discuss your experiences, needs, and preferences on a given topic. The conversation usually lasts from 30 to 60 minutes.

We ask you to perform several typical tasks in a specially prepared prototype of the application. We observe how you use the interface to determine which elements are intuitive and which require improvements.

A set of questions that you answer by choosing the option closest to you from a previously prepared list, or we ask you to write a few words yourself. Completing the survey usually takes from 5 to 20 minutes.

Why is it worth participating in the research?

Shaping XTB app's future

By participating in our research, you directly influence the shape of both the mobile app and the web platform. The results of user research are our guides indicating the direction in which we develop XTB.

Expressing your opinion

A 1-on-1 meeting is the best opportunity to provide us with your feedback. During the conversation with us, you can not only present your point of view but also justify it broadly and explain its origin.

Compensation for participation

Some of the research we conduct, such as in-depth interviews, usability tests, or certain online surveys, are paid. To reward participants for their contribution to the development of the XTB platform, we pay between 50 to 200 PLN for participation, depending on the case.

How to participate in the research?

For each research, we send invitations to XTB users who may be interested in using a given product. Responding to the invitation is the only way to participate in the research.

Consent to contact
  • We can only send invitation emails to individuals who have consented to marketing communication. If you want to participate in one of the future studies, it's worth ensuring that you have given such consent.

No ongoing sign-up
  • We do not conduct continuous registration of users for future studies, nor do we create a database of potential participants. It is not possible to register for the future.

Research team

The team members specialize in both qualitative research and quantitative analysis. We combine competencies in psychology, cognitive science, design, and statistical analysis. Years of experience translate into high efficiency in conducting research and ensuring participant comfort.

Safety rules

Check the email address

We send research invitations only from the address badania@xtb.com. If the message looks unusual, the sender raises doubts, or the domain has a typo - do not click on links.

Do not provide your password

At no stage of the research do we ask you to provide your password to your XTB account or any other platform.

Do not log in with your data

During the research, we never ask you to log into your real account in XTB or other financial institutions.

Do not send documents

At no stage of the research do we ask you to send a scan of your identity document, statements, or screenshots from the XTB application or other financial applications.

Do not install anything

During the research, we never ask you to install additional applications on your phone or programs on your computer.
