Economic calendar: Bank holiday around the world. ISM manufacturing PMI from the US.

•         Most stock markets are closed due to public holiday
•          Manufacturing PMI expected to drop to 36.9 pts
•         ExxonMobil Corp (XOM.US) and Chevron Corp (CVX.US) among earnings reporters
 
Economic calendar is light today as several countries across the globe have public holidays due to the May Day or Labor Day. Lower liquidly is expected as most trading floors will be shut today. London will arguably be the only active trading center in Europe.
US ISM Manufacturing PMI is the main data release scheduled for today. Analysts estimate the US PMI to drop to 36.9 pts in April.

9:30  am BST – UK Money Supply M4. Expected 0,2% m/m. Previous 0,3% m/m 

1:30 pm BST – Canada Manufacturing PMI.  Previous:  46.1 MoM

14:00 pm BST – US ISM Manufacturing. Expected: 36.9 MoM. Previous: 49.1 MoM

14:00 pm BST – US ISM Manufacturing Employment Index. Expected: 37.0. Previous 43.8
