Economic calendar: New US stimulus bill in focus

  • German IFO index expected to show continuation of recovery

  • Phase 4 stimulus bill could be introduced today

European and US futures are trading near Friday's closing prices. Moods on the global market are mixed as investors are weighing escalating US-China tensions against the prospect of a new stimulus. Steven Mnuchin said that the GOP will introduce the Phase 4 stimulus bill today. It could be a potential market mover but Mnuchin warned that it could be done piecemeal.
