U.S. futures point to a mixed opening of today's cash session

U.S. futures point to a mixed opening of today's cash session. Sentiment in Europe has subsided after increasingly hawkish bets on the ECB's rate hike decision and persistently high 10-year yields (right now: 3.034%).

Market News:

  • Credit Suisse (CSGN.CH) is trading on heavy discounts, losing after warning of a likely second quarter loss due to the negative impact of the war in Russia and Ukraine, monetary tightening and other financial market conditions.

  • ExxonMobil (XOM.US) shares are set to open at all-time high. The dynamic growth is supported by: global energy uncertainty and, consequently, a good situation on the oil market. 

 

  • Novavax (NVAX.US) shares are up more than 16% ahead of the market open on the back of FDA approval for its Covid-19 vaccine.

  • Moderna (MRNA.US) is rallying on the back of its Covid-19 follow-on vaccine showing better results. The solution will come under regulatory scrutiny in the coming weeks. 

  • Roku (ROKU.US) shares react to unconfirmed reports of a possible acquisition by Netflix (NFLX.US). The stock gains more than 8%.
