US100 leads global market swoon

Shares in US tech companies plunged yesterday as the Nasdaq (US100 on xStation) fell by 5% in its worst single-day decline for 7 years. In Wednesday's alert we cautioned that a decline below 7287 could lead to a larger decline and after this level broke it was one way trade lower all the way into the close. Large declines were are also seen in other markets with the DE30 falling below key support at 11710 to trade at levels not seen since February.
