How to close a CFD position in the XTB mobile app?

Go to the Portfolio tab (bottom menu) → My transactions and select the CFD instrument you wish to close.

Option 1: From the transactions list
1. Tap the instrument card to expand the list of active positions.
2. Mark the checkbox in the top left corner next to the position you want to close (you can select multiple positions).
3. Tap "Close selected" or "Close all".
Option 2: From the chart view
1. Tap the plus icon (+) in the top right corner to open the detailed chart view.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen to the open positions section.
3. Select the positions using the checkboxes and tap "Close selected" or "Close all".

How to close a CFD position on the web platform?

Go to the Open positions tab at the bottom of the screen and select the position you want to close. Then, click the red button located on the line of the selected position.

🚩 Please note: Closing a CFD position may involve either selling or buying - it depends on how the position was originally opened, as closing is a reverse operation. This means that if you hold a long CFD position (on FOREX, indices, commodities, or cryptocurrencies), closing it is executed through a sale. Conversely, if you hold a short position, closing it is executed through a purchase.
