BREAKING: EURUSD deepens declines after solid claims data

The number of Americans filing for unemployment benefits dropped to 204k in the week ending December 31st, from the previous week's revised level of 223k and below analysts estimates of 225k. It was the lowest number since late September, suggesting the labor market remains tight and might contribute further to inflationary pressure in the world's largest economy.

The 4-week moving average, which removes week-to-week volatility, declined to 213.75k  from 220.5k.

Continuing Jobless Claims fell to 1694k from 1718k  in the previous week and below market estimates of 1708k.

EURUSD continues to move south and broke below local support at 1.0580, and if current sentiment prevails, downward move may accelerate towards 1.0520. Source: xStation5
