BREAKING: US jobless claims surge to 3839k!

The US jobless claims report was released at 1:30 pm BST. The reading once again showed a bigger than expected value. Initial jobless claims came in at  3839k against expected 3500k. Last week jobless claims came in at 4427k. Today’s data haven't been able to rattle the markets. Stocks are trading slightly lower and US dollar seems to be unaffected.
EUR/USD – publication of the report did not affect the most popular currency pair, which continues to trade in local sideways move. Source: xStation5
